Scitex Continuous Tone files are intended for high-end image processing. Files are generally stored with CMY color formatting, so data and image integrity is preserved during the conversion process to common output formats.
JPEG
JPEG stands for Joint Photographic Experts Group, the people that invented the .jpg standard. JPGs are ideal for storing web graphics or digital photos. Converting a .jpg or JPEG file to PDF, SVG, or PNG with PrizmDoc might be required to overcome fidelity issues, or to gather multiple images as a single file. The image, header and metadata are all maintained.
